I am slowly starting to put some machines out on location, and was wondering what type of return you get from certain machines?
I have a neo geo 4 slot that's pulling in about $50 a month on .25 a play a megatouch (only been out a week and $28 in it already)
and i am also planning on putting my dual california speed's out on location in a couple weeks, and perhaps a golden tee (anyone have one reasonably priced for sale
Anyways just wondering if these are really low numbers, or if they seem kind of on target. Also, what are good games for having in certain locations? bars/laundramats/trailerparks/pizza joints
Thanks!
Eric

I thought about doing this, I have a spare Neo cab I could put on location. Is there sort of an "op" standard way to run this? does the property owner pay you for use of the machine and then get a cut? is it placed on site for no charge and then the property owner gets a cut?
the way i have been doing it is a 50/50 split, seems to be the norm from what i understand

When speaking to a local Op, he was telling me that there are electrical inspectors making the rounds.
Several years ago, he had 13 machines that were tagged by the inspector for not having valid CSA / ULC stickers on them. He spent $100 each to get them certified. ($1300 total)
This year when the inspector returned, the Op had shuffled some machines out, and brought new machines in...the new machines didn't have a tag, and he was hauled into court. The inspector said 5 machines weren't tagged, and it would be a $1000 fine....
It turned two of the machines had been certified, and the tags had simply fallen off...he had paperwork to prove he had them certified.
They dropped the fine down to $600, or $300 if he plead guilty....so he plead guilty.
The inspector told him if there was a third incident, he would be brought back into court, and the fine would be very heavy.
So...all you guys who want to have machines on route...just a head's up - here's yet another thing you need to worry about.

Don't forget to get insurance. All it takes is for one kid to drop one on his head for you to lose your house.
How the hell could that happen and how the hell could someone prove it's your fault?
