As much as I have been warned off by other collectors, I would still like one of these if I could get a good deal on one.
I am still enjoying mine. I figure it will stay here for awhile (unless some amazing deal comes up). The kids (and visitors) really enjoy it.
Just putting back the last pieces of my teardown shop out. Love the way they designed P2K machines to have the complete playfield just pop right out. I now understand why people use playfield rottiseries.
And yes, the engineering behind P2K is simply amazing
It's a shame (...and wonder...) why Williams pulled the plug on these.
One of the most under-valued pins around in my opinion.

Agree with you 100%, Steph. I have often thought of adding one to my collection. I remember when they first came out. Saw one at the South Keys Cinema. I desperately wanted to play it, but couldn't get near it as there were too many kids dropping their quarters into it! It immediately grabbed people. The platform, in my opinion, was an absolute winner. I'm sure it would have revolutionized pinball if only it was allowed to continue. Sad...
You probably cant see from my pics, but I just installed the Bill Ung kit. Makes a nice difference. I was impressed when I saw Necro's AFM with a similar kit. I also threw in a cliffy protector and some Orbit Pinball protectors while I was at it.
The one today at Starburst was in decent shape, but the cabinet was a bit rough. I didn't hang around to see what it "sold" for.
The "TILT" DVD is awesome. I have it and it gives a fantastic insight on this whole Pin2K saga.
