Wow. I can't express how excited and happy I am. Sparky, that PF looks unbelievable.
Just for thsoe who are wondering about Sparky's work ethic and efforts, he contacted me a few months ago to say "I'm done"... only to write me a bit later and say "I'm not happy with the whites, so I've stripped it all and I'm going to do all the white." This guy is super professional in his approach and standards.
Thanks again Sparky, I really appreciate it. I LOVE the extra touch, for the only solid state machine I've ever kept. A couple people dropped by last night, and we were playing, and I was telling them all about the new PF. Galaxy is an underrated machine, I know so many Stern fans don't list it in their top choices, but I've found that if the machine is clean, jacked, and maintained - it's an awesome game.
Can't wait to play it.I'm not a big SS fan but I played this at Dans house and it's a great game.it should be pretty fast with the new PF.nice job.

Wow - impressive. I think its key to attracting the younger players that these games look fresh as no kid wants to belly-up to a faded/stained/worn playfield.
Did you use the air brush a lot - or mostly hand-brush. I suck at air-brush - I think my setup's bad and my paint is too thick, so the needle keeps clogging. Fortunately only doing t-shirts right now!

Both. I use airbrush and regular brushes, along with needle-painting for fine details.

The large white areas are all airbrush. Small areas are paintbrush and needle.
That looks great.. The one thing I really enjoyed about Galaxy is that the blue on the upper part of the playfield is pretty much an EXACT match to cobalt blue. Really no need to match it, just get cobalt blue
Still don't miss my Galaxy though. Glad it's gone.
