Dude has just put a Paragon backglass into the backbox.  Probably didn't have a Lost World bg.  Hilarious.

OK. Joke.

Most of you knew it... it's my game.

After almost 10 months of searching for a Lost World backglass, I gave up, used a Paragon glass that I had.

It wasn't an easy swap. The score displays had to be moved, and all the coresponding backbox lights had to be rewired, and it turned out pretty nice in the end. It only worked out as Paul Faris ( the artist on both Lost World and Paragon ) used the same character in both glasses. I also put P-A-R-A-G-O-N into the inserts in the playfield wings before the playfield was touched up and clearcoated.

Once again - this wasn't just like throwing an old Paragon glass on another game. I would never do this again = too much work.

Anyway, I should have took more pictures as this game was progressing, it was a basket case when it arrived. Now it's a pretty nice playing game - that looks great!

For alll that work it would be a shame to sell it to someone who has no clue. Well I guess you probably enjoyed the tinkering, like most of us.

When I went to the link I didn't even look at the vendors name and address.  Only after I went back to it a second time did I read..."Dan"  in "Ancastor" ...D-oh !  Too bad it was a one-time only thing.  I was hoping that the "hybrid-pin" market would really take off.  I had plans for a "Six Million Dollar Knievel" machine and maybe even a "Mata Gordon".

I wish I had known you were looking for a Lost World backglass.  I've got a mint one just sitting in my basement.............................( jokes ).

I thought you sold your Lost World a few months back ?

This game is just as nice as the one I sold Gory.

I've had a couple of offers, but it's not close to where I want to be with this one, so it'll probably hang around.

Glen, you better not have a Lost World glass.........argh!
