Last I heard the MJ crew was sueing the auction house to get back the goods....because some "sentimental" items were unfairly being sold... perhaps those are the pinballs...or perhaps its a clever way to drive up the auction bids....

Without trying to appear defensive, the court issues really just caught my eye on a fleeting blog or CBC thread somewhere after I went through the catalogue, honestly.  There's no denying that MJ's music affected a generation of us in a profound way.  But there's also no denying that he is the poster child of "absolute power corrupts absolutely" and "the mightier they are the harder they fall". And I'm being kind.

Apparently he's doing 50 (!) shows in London, England. When I was there a couple weeks ago there were lots of billboards advertising it. I personally don't get it, but he's still popular.

Somehow, I really doubt 50 shows...but then again, you could put an impersonator on stage and no one would know... everyone is far from the stage.

I am surprised that he hasn't been approached to do a vegas gig. Simply put, the guy is a the poster boy for perverseness but he is still a draw musically!
