I know everyone likes certain games (Well most people) But there are lots of games that become "B" and "C" games that most people don't like or want at all.

I like Who?Dunnit, I like Gilligan's Island. Might just be me, but the Themes are great and entertaining enough. Maybe it is because there are so many games here that they don't get old as fast.

Thoughts???

Dave

Dave i think you may be alone on that particular title, but there are some who would take it over a Stern.

Baywatch is actually not a bad game, but the music wears on you. Shopped one out for a operator and it was actually OK.

I like Demolition Man, great pin for the money. NBAFB also is OK, not your conventinal scoring pin, but I used to love beating my nephew on it.

Road Show. Great game. Lots of modes. Interesting and unique layout. Tons to do. Absolutely hilarious non-Politically Correct humour. The only complaint that I hear about the game is the country theme. BUT the country music only plays when you get a Jackpot and it's kind of country rock so it doesn't really bother me. Way under valued game in my opinion.

Dr. Who, btw, blows! Terrible, terrible game. Got one. Thought, "Wow, this game is great". Yeah, thought that for about a week. Then sold it. Guy thought, "Wow, this game is great". That lasted a month and he sold it. It's worse than Popeye...yes, I am serious. Popeye actually isn't bad. You just cann't see your shots which is what kills that game.

I think all my pins qualify under this category, but one of the ones we loved was Shaq Attaq.  I'd have that one back, it's the cheering that gets you going (I think I'm gonna enjoy WSC94).  I am also in love with my Laser War, but I'm not alone.

I'm with websherpa on Shaq....great IMO for a Gottlieb. I REALLY miss my BSD too...LOVED that game!!!  And Harley Davidson...my favorite Stern by far. Love the music and gameplay. My other "weird" tastes include not really liking TZ that much...I can't get into it. I also didn't really enjoy MM that much. Then again I only played 4 games, but I like MB much more for less $$$.

I'm with you on Time Zone.  Maybe because I didn't watch it much, but I just don't "get it".    And of course STTNG, what a terrible game that is, too many goals, too much talking, heavy, dated theme.

Demolition Man (fast and funny widebody!)

Genesis (look past the cheesy art.. gameplay is fun!)

Tales from the Vrypt (best damn DMD animation, and great play!)

BSD (a real bitcharoo to play but keeps you coming back for more!)

Spectrum (just different... it is actually hard to get the combinations right... besides, I loved to play Mastermind...)

Heavy Metal Meltdown (the meeting at Jim's... enough said!!! I swear I will buy one if I find a nice one!!!)

Totem (I don't know... for some reason I always liked this pin)

RBION ( I love this pin... some hate it)

... and the concept of Pinball 2000. I still think to this day that it was the future.

Retiring soon...

Damn, I forgot to add that to the equation. First guy (Gre-gory) that owned it, wanted it out. I owned it, wanted it out. Third guy, wanted it out. The game blows. I would take a Popeye over it any day of the week.

BTW, Gre-gory no offense intended. I have bought a few games that I thought I would like only to sell them later. I really don't think you can judge a game until you have either had it in your house or played it alot at a friend's house.

Congo and Whitewater for me.   Congo completely surprised me given all of the negative hype on RGP.

Whitewater is a very popular pin. I don't think it can be considered a pin that gets no love.

I have to go with a Cue Ball Wizard. I love mine - it is alongside my TZ. And as much as I love my TZ when I feel like a fun relaxed game of pinball I always turn on the CBW. The cue ball and eight ball on the playfied is a stroke of genius - especially that freakin cue ball rolling around - getting in the way. Love it - very underated.
