This is second hand information but it is my understanding that the ones from Darin Jacobs is from the original factory film, yet contain a slight misalignment in the offset.  Nothing to worry about as that's how the games were shipped.  Allen from Treasure Cove corrected the alignment problem in his version, as it bothered him.

I think they are both similar in quality. But again I have never purchased a decal so really can't say.

As for applying them there are two methods.  Wet and dry .. both have +/-.  Wet is easier to adjust if you have a bubble or made a slight mistake.  I think what's most important about laying the decal, is the prep work beforehand.  If the surface is not optimal the decal will make things look worse.

Which ones BAA and Marco are selling you would have to ask.

Topcast 41  (  http://www.marvin3m.com/topcast/past.php  ) @ the following time-stamps talks about decals:

23:42 Whirlwind.  Painting cabinet, decal set.   Made own decals (not bought from Illinois Pinball).   Redecal cabinet makes it look wrong.  Cactus Canyon / Monster Bash - only two that had decals.   Indiana Jones - 4 process color design - sunbursting red fades to orange to a yellow - you can't touch it up - you have to get a cabinet decal look.   Adams Family - black cabinet, custom colours - easy to touch up and spray a light clearcoat after touching up.

28:00 White Wood Cactus Canyon in Elvira Cabinet - white wood - graphics aren't complete.   White woods suck to play - don't know what to go after - but great history.   Buy a $200 Cactus Canyon playfield - light boards, etc.   Decals - install dry & wet.   Dry was tough to do.   When doing wet - companies have solution for spray bottle on cabinet - to allow repositioning to float decal.  (Soapy water works / Windex works - but he gets the special stuff )

(Never done it myself - curious how Clay made his own decals - seems like a lot of scanning / photoshop work - and then you'd still have to goto a print shop).

I have been told no, it is a bit of work. The guys gave you some good links. I bought the 3 piece set (front and backbox) from Treasure Cove and they look great. I will soon attempt it, and if that works out great I have a complete set for my MB, that I will restore for my collection.
