I don't mean to "toot my own horn" (but I would if I could if you know what I mean...a-hem), but the local Newmarket newspaper asked to do an interview about the 2009 Canadian pinball championship. Just to clarify... 1. They chose the worst photo for the article (full front page story). I look like I'm drunk and trying to pull myself up with the aid of the pinball. 2. The story seems to suggest I defeated the 2-time world champ (Bowen Kerins), when in fact he was (thankfuly)defeated by an earlier competiter. 3. They misquoted my "trophy pinball" saying I won it for my 2nd place finish at the PAPA world championships, when I actually purchased it from Vengence with my tournament winnings. Good article.
Technically you did beat out Bowen as while you might not have been the one to know him out personally you still advanced further then him and that is still something of note. |
