I gave up on specific ring kits long ago... Reason being they are never correct / complete for some reason. (probably because the game manuals never have the correct ring list in them either!) It's such a pain to order a ring kit to have it be missing numerous rings. Nothing worse that having to stop re-assembling a game because the kit is missing one or two rings! (can you tell I'm speaking from experience?)
If you have more than one pin, do yourself a favor and just order a whack of all the standard bulk rings from PBR or PBL. (Or if you order a kit, order up extra of all the standard rings on top)
Just wondering where people get their rubber ring replacement kits? Thanks.
Hi
Just bought a bunch of ruuber ring from starbust MTL, 20 each of smaller size and 10 each of bigger one from 3/4 to 3" ½ around 100$ tax inc.
Bye Gino
Bally Fathom, Centaur, Eight Ball Deluxe, Dolly Parton (for Lost vegas conversion project), Gottlieb Black Hole, Abra ca dabra, Game Plan Andromeda, Stern Flight 2000, seawitch, wurlitzer 700, 1900, rockola 1428, seeburg HF100R, vendo 44, midway monster gun, mystery score, mills High Top
Is there an online resource with the lists of the stock rings for each machine?
Not that I'm aware of, but all this info is in each game manual. (which are on-line) But as I mentioned earlier, I've yet to see a manual with a complete / correct ring list so what's the point?
Is it an atom? No, it's multiball! Complete MAACA-Wacko!

I see Heinekenlover has only one pinball and a Slugfest.
My suggestion is if you dont mind your game out of use a short while, simple remove all the rings that need replacing. On most you will find the actual diameter in inches written on the ring. You may need a good light and magnifying glass. Smaller post rubbers are just that, I dont think there will be anything written on them.
Order spares, especially the post rubbers which are cheap. For the slingshots, order spares if you are picky as these usually get dirty and need to be cleaned before others due to most frequent ball contact.
Most people favour white rubber for playability. Operators prefer black as it looks clean longer and lasts longer but it also gives less rebound making the game a bit less lively.
Perhaps a c ollector close to you that keeps an inventory will sell them to you so you can avoid freight on a small shipment. Otherwise Starburst Toronto/Montreal + parcel post if necessary.
Aslo Pinballpartscanada is located in Gatineau. I dont know if he will sell cash and carry or only with the $15 shipping fee.

Black rubber makes machines really dirty though, especially as it ages. PBResource.com has a Ring Size chart that you can print full size and use to identify unknown ring sizes. The different colours of rubber have different amounts of bounciness, the lighter the more bouncy, the darker more stiff (as a general rule of thumb).
All fantastic information. I am in the middle of converting my Slugfest to LED's (awesome transformation BTW) and ST is next. I figured I would clean the playfield and replace the rubbers at the same time. Generally speaking how often do you guys replace your rings? Do some need more frequent replacement than others?
I'm looking to get some as well, although I'm waiting until Pinballpartscanada gets back from vacation (Aug 9th?) to see if they will do a cash/carry. I'd like to do this for a couple of reasons, mainly because I'm not looking for a large quantity, but also because I'd rather take the old ones in to make sure that I'm getting what I need. If not, I'll order them. I have a list of what I need, based on the manual and a visual count on the machine, it's not a lot, with a couple of one-of sizes. If you can wait until then, I can add what you want to either option. It seems most here buy in bulk and keep their own inventory, which is ideal if you have a lot of machines, I would too. But it's a pain for those of us with one or two machines. If I have to order some in bulk I'll probably become a local resupplier, i.e bring me some beer and take the leftover sizes you need....

In home use if you completely shop out the game the rings should last for years (as long as the game isn't sitting in direct sunlight or exposed to other UV sources for long periods of time), with periodical wipe downs every hundred games or so.

He will do cash and carry, however he has a legit business so expect to pay tax.
