I like GNR and Jurasic park not always the same sound
Life is like Pinball!! You never know where you will bounce or where your going but sometimes you have that one amazing shot But on the other hand you have those darn gutter ball where you just get frustrated.
I guess that you just had to be at Pinball Expo 2002 to understand...MrHide and Spacecadet28 know what I'm talking about...
Like Centaur as well...a la Pinball Expo 2004...
Judge Dredd is great...thus one of the reasons I like this game.!
CFTBL's music was what attracted me to it in the early 90's...it fits the drive-in theme really well.
Ah...so many that have good music....
Current 'working' lineup: ( 2 ) Flipper Football, The Shadow
Gone but not forgotten: ( 22 ) City Slicker, Dirty Harry, CFTBL, Big Shot, Big Guns, Black Rose, Judge Dredd, Indianapolis 500, Big Game, BS: Dracula x 2, Beat the Clock, Fire!, F-14 Tomcat, Getaway, Breakshot, Cheetah, Meteor, El Dorado, Nitro Ground Shaker, Chexx Hockey, Slugfest
Wow! Best music? That is a tough one. Actually easier to say worst music and that honour goes to White Water. When I played mine for the first time, I thought "WTF, there must be something wrong with the sound board, chip, etc." It's just that bad. Terrible opening music, but at least it gets mildly better during multiball. Still really disappointing for such a great game.
In terms of music I really like:
- TZ - fits great with the theme. - NGG - awesome music throughout and the music changes dramatically -- from Canjun sound to hard rocking -- depending on modes. Love that game! - Shadow - The music sticks in my head after I play it - JP - great music that changes depending on mode being played. I really like the sound system on JP, seems really nice - AFM - music works great with the theme - Funhouse - great music that is perfectly suited to the game. - GetAway, I may be in the minority, but I love that music. - IJ - CV - I personally love BK2K -- that's the only thing saving the game in my opinion. The gameplay is otherwise shallow -- keep the ball in the upper playfield -- but that music is incredible and makes me want to play it again, and again. Plus the voice "No way!" !
... While simple and old school, Haunted House has pretty impressive music!
Cheers, - Sylvain
Looking for 1966 Bally Capersville, 1967 Bally The Wiggler, 1981 Stern Viper, 1986 Pinstar Gamatron, 1986 Williams Grand Lizard, 1991 Williams Bride of Pinbot, and a few others. Cash or some trades available. Could also repair a machine of yours +/-$ if needed, in exchange for one machine on my want list, non-working/unshopped welcome!
fav sounds are some of the latesys 11 games Dr Dude, whirlwind, Swords of Fury, and I know I am gonna get it for this but Bad Cats. also have had High Speed sound track embeded in my head since its release not sure if that counts as I am brain washed by it.
Hey, cool link. That first T2 tune is quite catchy.
I've thought about it some more and have determined that I prefer original scores over samples. Most, if not all, sample tunes that I have heard annoy me. ZZ top's LA Grange really kicks a** but on Getaway it sounds more like elevator music... The same is true for Golden Earring's Twilght Zone on TZ, (sorry Ian!). Give me something completely new or give me the true original but please don't try to pass off a watered down copy. I'm sorry but that's just wrong... Or is it just me?

Another Inane post brought to you by the good people of ACME Corp... Purveyors of the all-purpose Thread Killer.

La Grange on Getaway does sound great... but I find Golden Earring's TZ watered down on the TZ pin... You tend to not even notice it.
