Yesterday I played the new CSI pinball at STARBUST/PLAYDIUM STORE in TORONTO.
What a cool game, locking the balls in the skull is cool!
There is more to the game than what you see looking at it,a magnet under the microscope to stop and hold the ball at the top of the orbit.
Game played good and seemed like a winner.
I only had time for one game but cant wait to play it again.

The WoF and WPT special has been on for more than a week. Last time I talked to Adam he said sales have been slow. I wonder why?

After last night at Nick's, my "second" opportunity to play with WOF, I think the "shine" has worn off for me.  I don't know, I think I need to play it at length again and in a venue where I can hear the audio.  A WPT one day would be a nice addition, I am all over the theme on that one and thought the gameplay was, for the most part, fast (no idead how deep though).  Maybe Jim can chime in on how he likes WPT?

That would be a silly thing to do in a thread about CSI

I played CSI at Starburst last Friday for about a half an hour.. and, funny enough, I was wearing my CSI:LV shirt at the time.  Purely coincidence, but man did I feel like a dweeb.

Anywho, the game seemed pretty good.. smooth flow, lots of spots to aim the ball.  Seemed a little slow, but that could probably be fixed by just increasing the angle.  As far as I could tell, it's only a two-ball multi, but I'm not 100% sure on that.  The videos seemed to fit the show, but man.. that game could REALLY have benefited by having some Who samples....there's even some teasers where you think it's going to bust out into "Who Are You", but then it moves on to a different sound

The game has 3 multiballs. Looking at the pinballnews.com review, looks like the centrifuge multiball is only 2 balls. The skull multiball is definitely 3 though, from the looks of it.

Skull multi wasn't 3 balls when I played it, but maybe it has different modes

Well, that's disappointing! Kinda odd though, why have a two ball lock if only a 2 ball multiball? Maybe they only installed 2 balls, and the machine is smart enough to compensate?
