It allows you to modify your WPC game ROM, and eliminate LED "ghosting" issues by changing the lamp matrix section commands.  If you read through the site the author gives you a very detailed breakdown about it all.

Amazing. I doubt Wayne will care though. There's no WMS code or technology here. It's perfectly legal to patch or reverse engineer existing technology.

Then explain why Wanus has forced disti's like Marco to stop selling Alltek products???  I also believe modifying the game code is a "no-no".

I heard Wayne just blackmailed Marco's. Wayne had NO legal recourse against Alltek boards, so he told Marco's that he would remove Marco's "privilege" of selling authorized reproduction parts if they kept selling Alltek systems. Especially since the ROMs were freely distributed by Wayne himself throu IPDB and other sites.


And then some still wonder why Wayne is not liked very much...

Not if you release a patch.  Releasing modified code is a no-no. As long as the guy doesn't distribute actual ROMs, he's fine.

is "ghosting" the flicker that happens with led's?

I have eliminated all of my flicker by turning the GI power saver all the way off (brightest setting)
