Just had to share my excitement!!!

I moved in 2 new (to me) pins and moved out 2. Recent additions are "Scared Stiff" and STTNG. Traded in my Bally Flicker and Gottlieb Cue Ball Wizard.

Anyone want a nice Cue Ball Wizard? Talk with Jim. (jvegas101) It is a nice machine and IMHO vastly under valued. It and Stargate are the best of the Gottlieb Premiere line.

WOO HOO !!! have to go now and play and clean some playfields and play!!!

Thanks Jim! and thanks to everyone at MAACA for making me break the bank with this hobby. However, I am done for a while (or else I will find myself living in a box down by the river - or an empty cabinet).

Pins owned:

Straight trade.   I wish! Does that mean I can cancel the cheque?

As they say. It was a great deal if both parties walk away happy. Me happy!

I am enjoying having those new pins in the house. They look great. Spent all last night cleaning up the STTNG.

Those three pins just sitting there with their lights blinking at you in the dark are visually stunning IMO. Eye-Candy for the sole! Now I just have to finish the other part of the basement to adequately house them - Winter project I guess.

Congratulations Tom ! That Scared Stiff is simply gorgeous, very nice trophy indeed

Which STTNG did you end out buying in the end ? The one with the painted ship ? I know how hard the decision was

Perfect lineup, 2 hard and frustrating games and an easier but cool one (SS) for releasing the frustration

SS is really really fun. I love the lights and sounds, not to mention the humour. I had no intention or desire to have one until I played the one at Jims during the open-house. It just sucked me in with the "fun" I was having playing it. That is the way it is with some pins. Several months ago Jim had a CFTBL for sale and I always thought that would be one of the pins I would like to own but after playing it, well I just didn't enjoy it much at all. Nice looking pin though - if I was rich I would own one just to behold it!

As for STTNG - those outlanes are killer. Makes the left one on TZ seem tame by comparison. I might have to cheat and buy those lane extender guides before those Romulans get me.

I still think TZ is going to be my long term fave! Wonderfull machine with a great theme. I think the theme is what helps make it great. A pin based upon a show with so many different story lines and different characters keeps you from getting tired of it.

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

Why not just put some rubberbands on the outlanes that will help with drains down the outlanes quite a bit

You'll never get better by making things easier.

I hear ya. Notice I explicitly used the word "cheat". I haven't really decided to do it yet. Depends on how badly the game bangs me up. It used to be that TZ would do that too me but now I can get even with it much more often. I don't really want to go over to the dark-side, hopefully with a little practice I will be able to resist the temptation.
