I know a few of you have owned/own this game. I'm looking for opinions on it's gameplay, animations, sounds music etc. I have been intrigued with this game for a while but only have very limited time on one in Allentown so couldn't hear it very well or play it much. I like the look and theme (big Clue fan) so really want opinions aimed more at the actual gameplay - varied shots? challenging to solve mysteries? etc  Also opinion on fair market value and book value right now would be appreciated.

Thanks everybody

I played it a bunch of times when it was at the local bar, and then some more on pinmame.
Neat game, cool idea to guess/find clues on the criminal...nice art...but not much flow, because of all the pauses to do stuff on the screen.
The game gets a little old after a while...but so do many many games. It looks like ave. price for it is $1300-$1400US.
I'd buy it...but probably get bored after a month and sell it.....my 2cents, hope they help

I have the game and I really enjoy playing it,as do my guests when I have a pin party.
You can gamble away or double your score on the roulette wheel, and the spinnning slot are kinda cool.
Solving the cases are not that hard, but still fun.
I was kinda disappointent when I did all the floors on the elevator and all it did was restart the levels
I have yet solved all the cases.......only 3 out of 5 so far.
I like the sounds....(sometimes the phone can be annoying if you dont answer it right away)

A listing of my current games can be found in the Gameroom section(Updated June 20,2010)

As you know I pined after this one (also being a big clue fan) and then sold it shortly after.  Pinball Magic is much better (they compare in some respects due to their linear play), but there just wasn't enough complexity in the game, it gets old really fast once you know the "sequence" and as I remember it, there were ways to figure out the "who dunnit" ahead of time if you played it enough. Even my 7 year old (at the time) figured it out and abandoned it quickly.

It gets top marks for sound, DMD, and playfield toys (I LOVE Slot Machines), just too bad they didn't spend more time on the software.

Hi Medvet. I have owned this game numerous times.  The game play itself it way too easy.  You can have very long games which is always a draw back for me.  The other main downfall of the game is the lack of a wizard mode for solving all 5 cases.  Scoring can be huge as well and the DMD doesn't handle over 10B.  Betting on Roulette makes the scores super inflated.
The sounds of the game are fantastic, and the animations are good too.  Most challenging part of the game was the loop record for the right ramp.
Not a bad game for a house with a large collection.  Playfield usually suffers from wear below slot window on the inserts of the murder weapons.   Last one sold for $1200 or so, at the Starburst Auction.
