You really need a "shop" job on this purchase.

Congrats on your new toy.

Judging on the bondo-job sitting next to it on the second pic, you seem to be comfortable with the work!

Curious.  How long would something like that take to restore?

What kind of quarter mile does a pinball run these days?

P.S I'd like a corvette pin. A nice one!

I dunno, man... I drove my buddy's Z06 convertible a few weeks back... the damn thing goes from 0 to "mess-yourself" in 2 seconds flat... it was simply awesome. But I personally would get a longer lasting buzz with a pin, hands down. I would get bored with a 'vette after a while... NEVER bored with a TZ though!

Cars do absolutley nothing for me, I could care less if I was driving a POS car or the most expensive car you could find.

Does it get me from A to B without breaking down?  Is it good on Gas?  Can I haul a pin with it?  Sold

What's the point of having a car that's so fast when you will never get an oppertunity to use it what it was designed for, waste of money IMO.  But I'm sure there are the same people saying the same things about Pins, so to each their own.

I'm with you. I'd love to sell my Caravan and buy a 1989 Firefly like the one I had in highschool, but you can't fit a pin in a 3-cylinder two-door hatchback. That thing was an absolute POS, but it ran great and would go 700 kms on a $15 tank of gas.

But, alas, I'll stick with my minivan - it's a POS too, but at least it hauls a pin or two with ease and didn't cost me a fortune.

And I feel no need to impress anyone, so I have no use for status symbols either.

I honestly don't find cars impressive at all, all I think when I see a middle age man in a Corvette is "Mid-Life Crisis man!"

There is an idiot here at work, bought a BMW worth more then my house!  (Granted the guy has the money to throw around but still) Anyway the thing is dinged up and scratched and crappy looking now and all I think whenever I see him is, What an Idiot! not what a sweet car he has.
