what paint should i use, i already paint my gravitars borders with with white semi brillant latex paint, but with a brush, but its not that good looking, and you can also so see small bumps, i was thinking of sanding a bit and painting it with a roller,
any suggestions for what paint or equipment to use, please help me out

You have to ensure that absolutely ALL the bumps, ect. are sanded out first.  Then many even coats of spray is best (that I have found anyway).

I'd re-start if you want it perfect.

I'm about to start my painting of an old Williams shooting rifle game too, so I'd also like to hear anyone else's opinion on the topic.

I've used a small foam roller with multiple coats with nice results. Spray is always best with multiple light coats. Patience is the key.
