the bottom one is ... Lyman Sheats you know... the one who wrote the software for attack from mars and medieval madness ?
really?? I aways thought that to me and others his claim to fame is being able to make 99 identical ramp shots in a row to get Extra Ball in Tornament Mode.
Lyman Sheats is a 'pinball wizard' as well as a 'pinball software wizard'...
He wrote the code for Stern's latest hardware/software change that started with WPT.
I don't care how (positioning)you play pinball, but in 2004, he won $10,000 by finishing #1 at PAPA.
Last year at PAPA, he finished 3rd and 'only won' $1,500...
If you ever get the chance to see him play, it's a show (long show) by itself. I'll always remember his Indy500 game which he completed at LEAST 2 full races...
Unfortunately, I played against him and Bowen Kerins (Last year's PAPA $10,000 champion) during my first (and only) 'pinbrawl' play-off match. I'm happy to say that I was able to beat Lyman (but not Bowen) on No Good Gophers, but got my a$$ whipped by both on Frontier and TAF...and yes, they won the tournament (with the Sharpe brothers).
Our team kicked the Lutin's team in the prelims. At least the Lutin didn't bring his tripod at A-Town this year...
