Following discussions with a bunch of the local guys back in the summer, I registered http://www.londonpinball.ca (check out that sweet design work!) and thought about organizing a monthly league. It hasn't come together yet, but there's been a lot of interest and we're hoping to get something going soon. We have at least 5 host locations and potential for more.

If anyone wants to help organize locally, by all means contact me. Adam forwarded to me all the TOPL rules and documentation and I can pass that information to anyone who wants to see it.

I don't know how you TOPL guys manage to attend meetings once a week. Your families must be saintly.

This is likely a good time for a shamless self-promoting plug.

If you start a league, and would like a crest designed, let me know.

As always, the minimum order is 50.

I think the tolerance really is because of the day of the week we play on.  I mean really when you think about it, what do you do on a Monday night anyway?

I get home at 5:15pm
I cook dinner at 5:30pm
I feed the kids at 5:45pm
I eat and chat with my wife at 6-6:15pm
I do the dishes and clean up at 6:30-6:45pm
I give the kids their bath at 7:30pm
I put my son to bed at 8pm
I give my daughter her milk and put her to bed at 8:15pm
I sit down for 15 minutes in front of the TV.
I go to the workshop starting at 8:30-9pm until midnight, and these days rebuild the bathroom gradually.

...that's the price I pay for having kids and being the only person able to cook in the house.

Retiring soon...
