Change the plug with the removed ground prong with a proper replacement, yo.

All my games have ground plugs.

But have you used your DMM to test for continuity from the ground plug on the cord to the side rails?  That is the ultimate test.  And if you confirm there is a break, then it's just using your DMM to isolate where the break is.  Simple.

About as simple as trying to get my dad to "Press any key to continue" 20 years ago.   Just the above would be a good video as a few folks I know don't know how to replace the plug, or use a DMM to test continuity.   Maybe its too pinball 101'ish - but these questions have been asked on this forum, .... (Hey I'm about to post a new thread of "Is this the isolation transformer"     )

that would be me.. I can't use a DMM to save my life.     But if you need a fancy shooter rod made for your pin, I'm your guy.

wow... all great ideas. I like the Multimeter-101 class idea. Besides, back-to-basics is good for everyone. No shame in that.

If you decide on youtube for distribution (can't beat the price!), don't forget the 10 minute limitation.
