I had a similar issue until recently. The garage was full, the basement was full, and my wife was getting very impatient with me.
In the middle of last year, the projects were weighing on me and I needed to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Over the next 12 months, I finished up all of the projects and sold them off. This past weeked, I finished and sold the last remaining project from the overloaded days. Yes, my Phoenix cocktail has finally left the building!
Now I'm left with only fully working machines and ONE project. It's nice to be able to park in the garage again and the basement looks like a gameroom instead of a storage unit.
Having said all of that, I can totally sympathize with those who have been overrun with projects. It's very easy to pick up pjoject after project that only needs "a little work" or is such a deal that it's difficult to say "no". And when projects seem to sell for next to nothing, if it's the dump or your garage, often the choice is clear. Where was I going with this? I dunno. I guess, in conclusion, ya gotta draw the line somewhere or else you'll be living by yourself and have plenty of time to work on projects.
Pinbot is still at my buddies place. I think he's probably going to keep it for now so I not about to do a full strip down and rebuild at this juncture.
What I really want is a WPC project again at this juncture.
shop pics show the pile up behind the counter and in our closet there is even a machine in there. slide other pins under set up ones. then the house has machines in the game room and now started putting stuff in the livingroom and kitchen. then storage is almost over full at the moment. but still getting more. might have to tie some stuff the the room of the house next.....
