Hey gang,

Had to pickup a pretty beat up pin today...in the back woods of Ontario. I say back woods because I even live in what I call the back woods...
This was not a pin from a member... Just an estate sale in my local classified...

Anyway... two BIG boys took me out back... and I thought I was going to :
A) Die
B) Get rapped
C) All of the Above...

So... Just to get the thread started...

What was the freakest place you've ever picked up a pin/vid from ??

And yes I know...

Going to the Super Auction at the Michigan State Fairgrounds in Detroit is always a treat. I've picked up a couple of pins there before.   It's a really nice neighbourhood (if you like houses that were once on fire).

Order of preference I would suggest A,B,C.

Never any real concerns with destination but some of the routes I ended up going to get there put me in the hood. Damn GPS never points out stuff that may be of importance to you.

That auction was ok, as long as your remained inside the compound.  Venturing off on foot to the local gas station was an adventure though.

The wrong end of Rochester was always nice too....

Yeah, my experience was less "urban" and more "Deliverance"...

All that for a bloody Super Mario Bros Pin.  (Not for me... I swear... For a co-worker)

You knew it was scary when the parking guys ask you

PINBALL OR GUNS?

My scariest was an abandoned building in butthole ohio..  that was being squatted on for storage... We had to get the games out before they tore it down... that day...
