Well figure I would post some pics of my game room, so here ya go, gotta love the unfinished basment look!

Nice lineup of machines. Good mix of vids and pins (but if you got rid of some of those pins you could fit a lot more vids in there   ).

Also love the Homer Simpson stand-up, makes it look like you have a security guard looking after the machines

Yea I can't be botherd to finish the basment, don't plan on staying in this house forever so don't want to put all the effort in just to leave the house 2 years later.  Next house I plan on finishing the basment though.

Very nice selection of Pins, you have 3 in particular I wouldn't mind having in my collection.  Pretty impressive having a LOR, AF, RFM, and a STTNG in the same collection.  Fabulous!

The TAF isn't in the greatest of shape, I just made the decision that the playfield is going out for touchup and clear coat.  I started shopping it out and decided to take the mylar off the field.  I had some insert lifting under the mylar and thought it was just the mylar lifting off the insert.  Boy was I wrong, I lost alot of the inserts, that coupled with magnet burn, wear in the pop bumpers and in the right inlane, I decided to bite the bullet and send it out of touch up and clear coat.  

I removed the mylar off my Wh20 and that brought new life back to the playfield, wasn't as lucky with the TAF.  

What method did you use? Freeze spray method works wonders.

I used freeze spray method on my Wh20 and it worked great.

It didn't work at all on TAF, as soon as I put on freeze spray ont he mylar it immediatly broke the lead I was on.  I also wouldn't be able to start again until after the mylar warmed up again.  I also wasn't finding it was leaving any residue behind as I was pulling it up which was weird.  

So after freezing wasn't working I tried heat, that didn't help either.  I think i was dammed if I did and dammed if I didn't.  

Well it's been about 2 years since I updated these pics, so I figured it's about time since things have changed drastically.  Homer is still around just folded up, he was taking precious pin space which is some ways sucks as I like having Homer around but I like having pins more

Really??? Didn't know that one... I get asked regularly from new people to the hobby on how much I have spent in the hobby. I can honestly say a lot more than what you see in those pictures...

I've talked to a few collectors about that one and all have agreed they don't like when folks ask how much for the collection. I don't mind when a collector asks the value of one game, but the entire collection I find rude. Maybe the real reason I don't like to answer that question is that is forces me to consider how much $$$ I have tied up in games.

I get newbs asking me how much a pinball costs all the time.  Then I get ebay links asking if this is a good deal  
I rarely get asked about the cost of the entire pin collection, generally they save that question for my office which is comprised of many toys and action figures hanging on the wall.

How much we have invested in the hobby can't be tally'ed by looking at the lineup.  You would have to consider all costs such as parts, shipping , UPS brokerage fees, getting burnt on a bad deal, gas, game room, etc.  Personally I try not to keep track down to the penny, its a hobby have fun.

BTW Adam nice lineup, but I would have kept the DWHO in there

I'm planning on getting another one, the wobble head project is comming to a close so once I get my wobble head kit I'll have to get a Dr. Who to go along with it

Well Figure it is about time I updated this, funny, everything on the left row is exactly the same   The right side row has changed so much, games I've had have come and gone from that side and I don't even have pics.

Yea the cab is pretty rough, if it was my machine I'd have the cab re-done but it's not.

The PF on the other hand is vibrant and just in absolutely amazing shape.  Backglass is also pretty much perfect.  

Beautiful collection Adam. I WILL make it up to Keswick for your next TOPL date.

Only thing, I would lose the Mel Gibson poster! Sorry, not a big fan of his as he is such an a$$&ole in his personal life.
