Where do folks get good batteries (coin batteries) for cheap.   I have some cheap MEC lights that need 2 CR2032 and the basic price is about $5 a battery.   The original light came with 2 of these and only cost $4.

Wondering if there's a better place to buy quality batteries than the dollar-store, ebay or going to MEC and just buying a new light.

Where'd you get them?   Its a stupid topic but light-hearted and simple enough.   Did you just buy them through ebay - and trust the quality.   We've bought ebay camera / phone batteries with no hassles in the past.

I was just surpirsed the price Walmart and likes want for them - and how much the "canada battery" web-sites wnat.

Met a guy who sold cheap watches - and he had a great price, but I no longer know him.

With kids toys - we go through a lot of these little things.

There are stories of counterfeit batteries being produced in Asia.  Hell, they are even producing knock-off Canadian cigarettes overseas now.  I wonder how much of a dumping ground Ebay is for these overseas batteries?

I checked Digitkey - not bad only $0.32 - I guess that's where to get them.   Beats $5 at the batterybuyer / canada-battery sites.   Active was $2 a battery...
