... any exceptions to this rule is either caused by severe ignorance, stupidity, mental illness, utter indifference or death... for example, getting a mint TZ for 500$. Either someone is uninformed, stupid, crazy, lazy or someone is dead, which leads the relatives to get rid of stuff, which points back to the four first symptoms.
Uninformed seller usually is the only case where you will get something cheap. You won't find those ones sold on the internet generally because anyone that can Google can get a ball park price. Believe it or not there are still people out there that do not use the net for information. That's where the hunt into the backwoods of Arkansas pays off.
I prefer the seller that knows it's worth money working but can't fix it. Then it is a mutually agreeable deal. They know it's useless to them and you know there is a strong chance you can fix it.

Agreed, that's where I get my deals from. Buying and selling to collectors doesn't make money or deals.
