I installed the new Software in my Spidey and I was very surprised at the amount of changes, both video and audio. So far it seems well worth the $0.00 it costs!!
I see a few people complaining about it on RGP, so I would back up the old version, just in case, but I don't see any reason to change it back at this point. That said, I have only played 2 games on it!

My Biggest beef with this game is the animations that are really good, but really long and they haven't put in a "Hit both Flippers to bypass" mode! That would make this game even better! That said, This game can be relentless with Multi-Balls and sometimes a little break is necessary!

Just installed the new firmware and it is definitely an improvement. I noticed that the old file was 34MG and the new 24 MG, maybe Lyman did a complete cleanup of the file. I definitely reccomend it. This is the first time I used the memory stick to upgrade firmware in a pin, and it could not be easier. Stern did something right with this design.
