Question: Do the speakers in the topper work? And if so, and you don't have the topper.. do you only get sound out of the speaker at the bottom of the cab?

Yes the topper has speakers in there. No topper = sound from the cabinet only. I would settle for a beat one just to copy it and build a new one.
