Hey guys

I host South Western Ontario's biggest and best Record , CD & Music Memorabillia Show twice a year. I'm thinking of adding a new dynamic to the show......coin op machines and game room items. Any feedback would be appreciated. Since the show is already established (20+ years) and gets 500+ at the gate the risk is low and it can take a few shows to build this new element .

The next show is Sunday October 26 Centennial Hall London Ontario. We traditionally do the winter show the Sunday following the Superbowl (smart eh?)

Please keep in mind London is fairly central  to Detroit, Toronto, Hamilton, Buffalo etc.

I appreciate your feedback. Any of the London contingent here that I have mentioned this to seem keen on the idea.

Thanks
Mike

Hey, Mike.

That's a nice idea.

I also think there is a large Coin-Op ( mostly Pinball ) show coming up in Toronto on Nov. 7/2008. This may or may not effect your show.

Just a thought.

Dates have been announced for the Toronto Game Room show:

http://www.torontogameroomshow.com/

It's Nov 8th and 9th.

I'd come to the show in London if there was a Pinball Tournament run.

Right on...Toronto show will be fun.

I'm thinking for the record show it would be a great venue more so to introduce people to the hobby and perhaps sell and cater to first time pin buyers more so then the seasoned collector.  Probally a good place to sell EM's and jukeboxes rather then A-list games.  I think it's a good theater to sell pins. More interest in the hobby the better.

Nick's let me know that the site has been up and down while they sort things out with regard to the show.  Unfortunately he's also let me know that the show will likely not happen in November and there shouldn't be any official announcements yet until they have a firmer date.
