I'm the other member with a money order tied up with guy.  I've been in contact with him through email, he is responding to me not sure why he isn't responding to other people.

The excuse at this point is he is having some health problems and as such isn't able to make it out to the post office to send out the items.  Also has said he doesn't have anyone to help.  Last contact I had with him was Feb 7th which I've shared with Flashman.  Paul saying he hasn't gotten his parts after a year really worries me.  I'll be emailing him in a couple of days again to get a status update, I think at that point I'll be asking for my money back.  If I don't hear anything from him by the end of the month next stop will be the police.  I'll need a police report in order to get my funds back from the money order.  I figure it shouldn't be too hard to get the money back, the bank can trace the money order and see if it has been cashed and by who.  If he has cashed it then I can file a report with the police for fraud present that to my bank and they will refund the money order.  If he hasn't cashed it then I can cancel it claim it has been lost as I've lost all contact with the seller and get my money back.

I sent my money in Dec 24th but have had better communication the Flashman.

Claiming health problems should send up red flags right away. That is a classic delaying tactic employed by ebay and craigslist scammers. I'd start looking into my options now if I were you, though to be honest, you probably don't have many aside not dealing with this guy anymore.

Agreed, it's wild how illness befalls people once they have the money...

Also, illness is a week, not a month, or two months, sorry.
Let's look at some official hospital and recovery times here:

Brain tumour removal......1 week post surgery recovery
Heart surgery.....2 weeks at the most?
Spinal surgery Average duration of recovery was 10.5 days (range, two days to two months). Recovery was complete within the first week in 32 patients (53%) and within two months in all patients.....

So...yeah....as I said.....bollocks.
