Désolé Mario, je ne suis pas du tout daccord avec toi, il y a de grosse difference de prix d'une place a l'autre, surtout quand t'a 4 enfant et que t'a 2 tonne de fourniture scolaire a acheter. Dan le passé c'etait Zellers les meilleur, mais ca fait des années que je n'ai plus fait ca, alors je ne suis plus sure maintenant. Mais merci pour conseil des petite surface, je vais regarder ca. ...Pas d'ostie de linge de Croteau... never again.  It's called l'aubainerie today. The only crap I buy there are socks. Mind you they are much better than they were in the day, but jeez was I embarassed by the crap I was made to wear. Nothing worse than wearing a cheap knock-off of a popular brand. I rather wear plain clothes. Today, you find that knock-off crap at flea markets... like Tommy Wear instead of Hilfiger, F05U instead of FUBU, and all other crap like that.

I still remember chucking my Daoust Nike-Jordan-knock-off sneakers in the garbage after a week. I bought my own shoes from then on.

For my son's  "uniform" blue and white we go to Sears. The cloths is decent quality and it is quite well priced. Like 12.95 for  a pair of pants that last 4 times longer than the Wal Mart crap.

Incredible that we talk about school furniture from Zellers, Walmart, ... for our kids and we buy for us toys around 1,000 to $4,000!!

On that note, it really makes no sense in paying ridiculous prices for  something that our kids will wear out (cloths) or lose (pencils and stuff) within the next few months.

I guess I'm lucky, My kids love Croteau, they even beg me to bring them there, yes, Croteau still exists here in Quebec city. But I must say that the clothes there is not at all what it was when I was a kid, my wife use to call it "Croteau guenille", but they improved a lot on the clothes they sell now a days.

We find that waiting for the specials at  the Gap and other like places give you far better value. We stopped  going to l'aubainerie over 3 years ago. While it may look decent it just does not hold up to my son's abuse and it just seems to fall apart for no real reason. I find paying a little more (not a lot more) makes a big difference and like Sparky I was subjected to the Croteau shame not to mention hand me downs.

But if your still liking l'aubainerie then you should know there are outlets as well. There is one here in Saint Therese.
