Common sense and ethical decency should usually be enough.

There are no 'rules' but people here do tend to adhere to a set of guidelines.  

They really all boil down to one thing... if you know another member is interested in a machine and has already been in contact with the seller you should back off until they pass on the deal.  Letting the seller know you are interested *if* the guy in front of you passes is the way to go.  

Things like offering more to a seller after a deal has been reached or telling a seller that they are getting screwed on a deal will get you in trouble around here.

Sorry to be negative, but as far as I know from previous experiences here, most will try to be nice but when a great deal comes around, a few, while perhaps not stab anyone in the back, at least twist an arm or tell a lie for it....

I wouldn't personally bid on an EBAY item for example if I specifically new that some other maaca.org member bid on it first and plans to continue to try to keep high bid on it....
