Just a reminder over the holidays when people may have the time. Zellers and Wallmart had Duracell on cheap so I stocked up and swapped. The old ones are fine for my sons controllers and stuff but I change them once a year regardless. All date codes now 2015 throughout. No leakage on the last batch I pulled... all 39 of them. Preventative maintenance works!
2015, eh? One machine I got had batteries in them with an expiry of 2000 or 2002 - so that means the batteries were likely 12 or so years old in there? Yikes!
