I want to bid on this Firepower playfield, but I am afraid... very afraid... because when I asked him where he was located for pick-up he would only say "Near the city of hamilton, in flambro." (Can't spell Flamborough I guess.)
I was going to bid but then realized that he had some bad feedback which made me even more suspicious.
Hmm, and since our friend Mr Anderson is known to drive a Suburban and that pf is leaning against the front of a Suburban, I think I would shy away. Just my gut instinct.

Yes, it did start smelling a bit like "Mr. Anderson" from the beginning. What's even more scarey is that it looks like he is still buying and stripping old machines. Hmmm...Gory, you bought two items from Gladioly68 recently (funny enough both items I either bid on or passed on with their original owners), how did those pick-ups go? That account doesn't have the greatest feedback either.
I thought Mr. Anderson had a court order (it could just be rumour) not to deal on eBay?
I notice too that Mr. Anderson is running amok on craigslist and buy&sell again (britmark73@yahoo.ca)

my dealing with him went great. both machines as described and we even pluged in the slot and played allittle. he showed me all the machines he had and even the new juk he just picked up. knew it was him once i saw the birds in his garage. he acted polite and proper the whole time though. didn't try to sell me anything else and i played a few of his machines. nice haunted house and other great titles. but the account he sold all that stuff on was a ladies account that meet him. but now the poor ladies account he used for all the auctions didn't do so well. she was aproached by alot of people afterwards and i think she lost alittle money refunding some items. let alone hurt herself with the neg feedback she got from listing his items.

Yes, that's the lady that contacted Mr. Pinball Classifieds, hoping to have someone help her shut him down (I'm not sure if she went to the police or not). What kind of birds? I'm just wondering if they were birds of prey because we ran into someone odd in the neighbourhood once while looking for a house (long gone) who kept birds of prey in his backyard.
From experience with family, I know that people who lie and steal are often manic depressive, bipolar or affected by Fetal Alcohol Effects which affects their ability to be empathetic and to understand action / consequence / social responsibility. I have never met him, and hope not to, but it sounds like this guy puts on a good game face, typical of a con artist.
Because of the cash nature of the business of coin-op it attracts people who can be less than honest at times but smoothies at "doing the deal". (As you may know, my coin-op distributor Uncle, who got me hooked on pins, was supposedly tied in with the mob.)
