Well I attended the show with my Family... kind of a dodgy part of town, but it worked out well for the three venues (Car Show, BBQ show, & Pinball Show).

I enjoyed the show overall and played some really cool older machines (EM golf (don't know real name), a cool gottleib woodrail, and older EM's, plus some newer games, and some great restore examples (I really liked Barracora (should have bought the one that was for sale here a few weeks ago!!! damn.)

I met a bunch of MAACA members there as well.

Tuborg, Ricker, Vengence, etc, etc....   It was a great time.

The only negative things to say aboutthe show was, 1) 1/4 of the games were not working, 2) there weren't enough venders...  other then that it was a good time.

After the show we did the Falls thing.

FYI: I found a Roller Coaster Tycoon, and a Pirates of the Caribean in a small arcade on te 9th Floor of the Embasy hotel right across from the mountain people mover lift.

TGlover, looks like you must have left really early. Looked for you based on your description.

It was fun to meet up with some of the enthusiasts and play a few games. Cheers to the London gang.

My only regrets were not buying enough LED's from Cointaker...forgot to get the bayonet type too for GI lighting.  He was offering great deals and the bulbs I got really look good on my Getaway. Also should have bought some of that rib sauce, it was delicious.

Wish there was more than 2 vendors present. I was immensely impressed with CPR's playfields, they look almost as good as Poolman's lacquered ones.

Ten SS games...but 8 is my limit!

I was fairly impressed with the show.   We went to Rochester 2 years ago and this about on-par with it - except for the lack of vendors.   I regret not buying any LEDs - but that's just because I'm not organized enough to know which ones to buy.

Barracora was great - agree.    Nice game play - that one was in great condition.

Bruce Moyer was there - he drove from 350 miles away.   He brought a wood rail - that was my first time playing one.   Neat rule set - would like to own one one day.   He also brought a 1965 Bally Loop The Loop - fun game, too.

One local operator brought some Gottlieb System 80's - Spring Break & Genesis - they were in nice shape and kinda fun.

The EM putting game was neat - but would get dull quickly at home.

CPR was there - I guess they arrange for some "local" artist to attend the show - 1 guy from Allentown area - and one from San Diego.

Good to see all the MAACA folks there.

Yeah, I had to leave shortly after 1pm, due to my youngest son having a temper tantrum...

Had a great time nonetheless, good seeing the guys I bumped into there.

I had a great time at the show...loved playing Frankenstein and the DE Simpsons and of course the highlight
was Phoebe's sweet 80's Williams pins. The ribfest was a blast...the roasted sweet potato with brown sugar and
butter on top beat out any pulled pork sandwich or ribs there!!!
Nice to see the Toronto Pinball Mafia AKA TOPL at the show, and some new faces I havn't met...even you TGlover

Our kids had fun exploring the mostly abandoned mall...what a fun venue!!!
Chris AKA Cointaker and his wife had an awesome LED booth and some sweet display pins for us to oggle.

To top the day off we stopped at LaNova for some world famous Buffalo wings and beers...

I didn't buy much...a pocket full of LED'S some Cherry Cokes and some great memories was all I took
home...Congrats to Speedy Mike on his new Love Bug...SWEET PIN!!!

Here's a few pics...

My enthusiasm for pinball

Agree - one day - but still no trailer.   So with the family in the car, there's no room for one.   One day....

I believe they offered free shipping on any orders placed during the show - not sure if there was a price break, too.

They had a few plastics (not sets, but a box of plastics) - and a box of coin door inserts ($1 instead of $2 on-line).   Their PETG washers and star roll-overs were 1/2 price, too.

Hope everyone that went played Phoebe's Varkon, There were only 90 made, and it was in great shape.
It would be nice to see the US economy improve, It's scary walking around an empty mall the size of any other mall in canada.
Ate some BBQ meat.
Bought some LED's.
Picked up a part's package I had shipped to the show.
Played some machines.
Had a good time.

This was my first visit to an American pinball event, interesting & enjoyable.

I believe that I saw the price of $500 for the game show project. I have no idea what it needed to get it up and running. There were Sharpshooter projects there for $75 and $100. Decent prices I thought. On another table there were marquee arcade signs for $15-30 which add a nice touch to any gameroom.

The neon sign booth won a few of my hard earned dollars and for the record Tslam and Cooke - not sure who asked but I did NOT buy the Man Cave sign!. Price was right because the competitors online (I checked their prices) were double what this guy was asking. Got a sweet deal in my books.

Phoebe's machines were the best at the show with titles that I had never seen and only previously read about. The quality of her machines was top notch and they did not break down like some of the other machine  providers' equipment. That Barracora was an instant hit and so many players kept going back to that machine, that speaks volumes! I might have to get one soon.

Chris' pin lights really add a nice touch to a machine, gives them a whole new look. He is nice guy and a great pinball player. He and I went toe to toe but he squeaked a win by 1K in the first match and then he handed me my a$$ on a platter with the Barracora game. He truely loves the hobby.

After playing 7+ hours of pinball I asked myself if I would do this again and I would if it happens next year especially since it is so close, it can only get better.

Ricker's current lineup;

El Dorado          Flash.                   Royal Flush           Joker Poker
Volley               Pioneer                 Barracora             Black Knight
Meteor             Xenon

Missed out on LOTR for $2900 !!!! WOW what a deal.

Loved the Sweet Potato

Had a blast with London's finest Pinheads Tslam, Poolman and Cookie!

Had to take home the Love Bug which was quite ironic after the "I hate hippies" rant in the car on the way to the show.

Now I gotta sell a couple games.......separation anxiety is kicking in.

Current line up.....

Bally Creature From The Black Lagoon
Bally Freedom EM (Early Production)
Williams Star Trek : The Next Generation
Williams Whirlwind (Might trade for the right title...try me)
Gottlieb Joker Poker SS (For Sale $1000)
Williams Love Bug (For Sale $600)
Williams Grand Prix
Gottlieb Target Alpha
Gottlieb Silver Slugger (For Sale $900)
