Who would have thought that a comparison between BSD and WCS94 would get so heated? Looks like B-list games are more contentious than A-list ones.

Holy crap! That list is a joke. Any list that includes Shaq and Mario Andretti in the top 10 cannot be taken seriously. I mean, really....Mario Andretti is better value than Shadow or JM or BSD? I don't think so.
In response to Johnny_eh's comments. The most "heated" discussion was between Vengence, Mr Hide and myself. We're all friends and, I think, not taking the comments too seriously. Adam and I were PM'ing back and forth during the debate.
At the end of the day, Adam and our collections are very similar in fact. We disagree on a few key games and that always starts the sh*t flying. Mr Hide just likes to stir it up
I sense some competitiveness in your tone I like that, I'm also very competitive. I'm never played in any tourneys yet though. I ain't flying across the country to play pinball, but I may drive to Vancouver to play in a couple VRPA tourneys and we'll see how I do. I'm sure I'd choke under the pressure at first as my nerves would be shot haha
I've said it before and I'll say it again, High Scores on individual machines are meaningless. The reason being there is no Standard of Quality. Every pinball is so different even when they are the same title, it's impossible to get a reasonable baseline to determine a decent score. Outlanes, settings, kickouts, flipper strength, sling shot sensitivity, pop bumper sensitivity, all of these things and more come into play on a machine.
the only true test of skill is at a tournament, where everyone is playing on the same game at the same time on the same settings in the same place. That is where the men are separated from the boys.
And Tom, they have these fancy new things called PLANES, they take you from one place to another so distance isn't an excuse
One of your local VRPA members Robert Gagno is making the trip to the show and as another example I'll be making the 16 hour drive to Minneapolis, Minnesota to participate in the IFPA World Pinball Championship. So nut up or shutup
