enleve le backglass (de dracula), vient pour le mettre à terre entre les 2 machines pis oups, accroche juste un peu le siderail et BANG! ... 2 million de morceaux à ramasser !
ALWAYS be very gentle and very carefull with your glass !
ca doit être parce que j'ai pensé à la vendre ! elle se venge !
On a similar topic of broken backglass, look at the 'nice' Scorpion BG I received from Rec Room Amusements (Barrie, ON) a few months ago.
Very poorly packed (with a master display board, display nipple facing the backglass! Both the BG and display broken. Not insured. Seller (or carrier) would not reimburse me.
Too bad, they lost a good future customer. Luckily I found another Scorpion BG locally, but not as good shape as the one from Rec Room Amusements before it broke in transit.
Looking for 1966 Bally Capersville, 1967 Bally The Wiggler, 1981 Stern Viper, 1986 Pinstar Gamatron, 1986 Williams Grand Lizard, 1991 Williams Bride of Pinbot, and a few others. Cash or some trades available. Could also repair a machine of yours +/-$ if needed, in exchange for one machine on my want list, non-working/unshopped welcome!
Yup. I NEVER put glass on it, always on the carpet. ( or that board that you see in the pic) I knew it would happen someday but it happens so fast, you don't even know what hit you!
ps: while picking up the glass, that !W$!@$# coin door was open and BANG ! hit my head on it, now I have a nice 3/4 inch scratch RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of my forehead
Sylvain: nice bunch of morons! you could still leave it wrapped up ! it's all still in "one piece" !

Thanks for the warning re: Rec Room Amusements. I have seen some of their ads. The prices for their games are normally pretty high anyhow, but I certainly won't buy anything from them after seeing that!
Interesting, I know Steve very well. I've never had a problem with him. But then again hes never shipped me anything I've always gone to his house to visit him.
What Mark said .... I always went to his house for pickup ... but agreed, his prices are generally way over market, for used parts. But, not having to pay shipping can offset that sometimes.
