What they have a price for is what they have in stock. They currently have a TZ, CFTBL, TOTAN, and a gold edition DE playboy prototype coming in, as well as a TAF in short, to name a few high end machines. Some prices are better than others, and they will send photos of everything on demand.
I have noted before I did this to get a TZ, and it worked out well. The more people, possibly the lower the shipping for each. There is no duty on machines, only HST.
this is an opportunity to get games for a bit more now, rather than endlessly wait.
Try to work through me, I guess, and hopefully this will split the shipping cost for each, and make it basically a game at US price, with little travel/shipping cost, which I’m sure will be attractive to some of you.

I'm looking for a CFTBL. I've contacted MPamusements for pics. I might be interested in getting in on the delivery in 2-3 weeks. I'm in Ottawa ON. Anybody know where I could find a CFTBL?
There are companies that are lower, in the middle, and premium, but I seriously think you would have to agree their prices are indicative of where they are, for a *resale company*. These are not "restored machines", they are flipping deals they got, half a$$ shopping them (not to the playfield), and replacing what needs to be done. They live up on their three month warranty for repairs, work needed, parts needed, and have a selection which you will not find on MAACA, kjiji or craig's list. The little extra you pay, is for this, and I think it's worth it. As I said, my TZ is a great shape machine, and I bet I likely paid what I would have for one in the same shape to come up here, but got it NOW, and "not if and when".
This is for people who want something now, and are willing to pay for that.
Jonney, as I said, the pins they state prices on, are the ones they have in stock. They list most machines, and then place a price once they have one in stock. For anything else, they can get it, I'm sure through connections, but you would likely pay more for this.
I'm not trying to sucker anyone into this. This worked out for me before, I know there are people like me wanting something that isn't going to be for sale for eons, so this is a option. You have to go by photos, the fact they are a no complaint BBB company, and my testimony.
Don’t wait though, they are coming 2-3 weeks and need generally a couple weeks to complete a machine. This is only for the benefit of all, in hopefully splitting the costs to ship.

WHile some of the prices only seem slightly expensive, some others are just crazy. I mean $3500 for an AP ? Hello ? And $2500 for a BTTF ? Wowie wow ! You probably got a good deal on your TZ, but is it possible you just got lucky ? Do the listed prices also include tax ? After taxes, shipping and exchange, I don't see how I could sleep at night paying some of the prices they have listed. And those are the prices they are willing to print. What the heck is going to happen when I call for a price ? Maybe that's why they want you to call, so that when you hear the price, they are at least able to call 911 for you after you pass out. And how does the warranty work when you cross the border ? Do they have any contracted repair shops here or do you have to lug it back to PA ?

This comes off the previous CV thread in buy and sell - the prices are more, but if you want something, here it is. I have explained the reasoning with regards to the machines with prices and without twice now - if there is a price, they have this machine, if there isn't a price, they do not have it in stock, but can search for you, and yes I'm sure that would cost more, understandably. I'm sure this is done for simplicity - this isn't Treasure Cove, and isn't TC pricing. The lower end machines, some of them, seem to be somewhat higher, however the more high end ones appear to be more around what you would expect. For a retail store in the US or Canada, their prices are pretty good i think. And again, as per the CV discussion, if you're looking for a A list game anywhere for book value, you are dreaming anyway.
I'm not trying to sell this as anything more than it is - if you are looking for something and want this now (instead of waiting for who knows how long to find a private seller), and they have it, you could have this in 2-3 weeks. If you see something you like, the more people we get could hopefully drop everyone's shipping cost, which hopefully wouldn't be that much anyway, as they are already making the trip.
I believe their cost is state taxes inclusive, however they have no power over HST that is charged when bringing it across the border.

How do you arrange deals for something like that? All on rec.games.pinball?

I was just thinking out loud that the timing is perfect for a dual-purpose trip. I assumed you were shaking the trees to see if any MAACA members were interested, and so I was just thinking that even if a handful of MAACA people wanted to buy a machine from that retailer, it might be possible to have someone bring back the machines while visiting the York show. If no one from here is going, you could put out feelers on RGP, but then things can get too complicated.
Ahh I see, I thought you meant private sales from the York show, and someone bring them back.

No, but that is another way to go. A show like Allentown, York or Expo are always good places to arrange to meet private owners and possibly score that hard-to-find pin.
Speaking of RGP, there is an interesting thread there about M&P. You might want to add your own positive experience to the comments.

If you feel like driving to Detroit, there is apparently a "gorgeous" CFTBL for sale ~ see Mr. Pinball Classifieds. Probably cost you close to $4K though after exchange, taxes and delivery ( or gas ).
