I think the point is being missed.

At least Stern is TRYING something new. Even the small things can help get 1st time pinball buyers.

I think it's cool. Even Williams did similar vids for Pinball 2000 back in the day. Some of this stuff isn't as intuitive to some enthusiasts as it is to others.
Another cool thing I noticed is that LOTR is still on the production line in the background!
