Yup... and someone asked me why the heck we paid 1.50$ a liter a while back when the barrel was at 75$US and now we are under a buck... simple... when gas hit 1.50$ the barrel was at 75$US when the CDN dollar was at 0.75$. So that made the barrel at 100$CDN...

Now the barrel is at 99$, which as stated makes it at 89$CDN...

When you look at the CDN dollar and the barrel of oil going up, it's not because our dollar is going well... it is because the American dollar and economy are in the toilet.

Bravo Dubya... you are really proving to your own people how incompetent you are and also to some Americans on how electing a president through disputable methods and sheer bible-belt blind faith gets you where you are. Keep spending your billions a month on a pseudo-war which is really over oil you will never end up getting, all the while your people are losing jobs and the Chinese are rubbing their hands together in anticipation of your downfall.

I honestly pity the next president (Hillary or Barack, obviously... no Republican wants to REALLY go for it...) that gets elected and has to clean up that mess...

IT's actually a combination of the tanking USD, and the improving CAD. The Canadian dollar is also improving compared to the British Pound and other currencies, but not at the same rate compared to the US dollar.

Heading to the Detroit area in 2 weeks.  Any ideas about picking some pins???  I am still looking for 2 more.

Well it is good and bad the dollar has gone up.
There will be allot of companies that will pull out of the cad market because it will cost them to much.
That will the cripple us because our unemployement rate will go crazy then we drop like a rock.
God i hope not but there is a big chance that will happend same for the export companies this will affect them the most.
But time will tell.
Also the only only dollars not really affected at the momment is the euro seems to stay stable but theres more then one country in it thus the reason it is more stable then the CAD and US.
I personally find the american goverment in power at the momment has done the worste mistakes in us history there about to cause themself a new american depression if that happens no knowing what will happen.

The guys with a decent number of machines are like used car salesman. Flip them for quick profit and put as little as you can in them to maximize your profits. That is why they get bad feedback.  Barry in NJ, . KAWeaver in Ohio and FUN in TX are all the same. They sell re-imports and anything that makes them money. As the guys are saying, you are better off dealing locally or be prepared for a possible surprise and having to invest more money into the pin you buy.

Actually we have been gaining on both the EUR and GBP as well (at the peak of 1.10+ we were sub 1.35 vs the EURO and sub 1.91 on the GBP. We have been flat against the AUD and the NZD for the last 60 days or so.
