So there I was.  At home alone last Thursday daytime (was working night shift last week), kids at day camp, wife at work, I decide to play a game of LOTR..

1st game - blown away by the machine - as usual on my first attempt.

2nd game.

Ball 1.
Start right away with Gandalf vs Saruman and finish it - gift from the elves.
Start Fellowship - get 5 of 9 across - hmmm better than usual.
Start 2 towers - finish it - gift from the elves - wow this is going well.
Start Return of the King - FINISH IT TOO!! - gift from the elves. - wo this is good.
Try Destroy the ring - complete it - Gift from the elves.
Start another mode - lose the ball.

I was totally in the zone during this time.  No idea what the score could be at.  Check the score 168M..  on my first friggin ball - 4 X-Ball stacked - OMG this is it!!!

Well....  Score after my 4 XBall...  189M - not good.  I'm losing it..

Can't get any modes completed - keep losing ball.

Started all 3 multiballs again can't complete Fellowship still.  Destroy the ring a SECOND time...  Found out it's worth 7M the second time.

End of game - about 240M, 4 or 5 gifts from the elves (can't remember if it gave me another one on the 2nd DTR), stupid fellowship incomplete.  DAMN!

I could almost taste Valinor after the 1st ball..  Not this time tho   ..  Maybe soon..


For those who don't know LOTR then this post means nothing.  Those guys who do know this machine will understand the close call!!

Your first ball beats my best game !    

At least I can say I've completed every Multi-Ball,
destroyed the Ring, and completed all the modes,
but unfortunately, not in the same game !

Has anyone from MAACA completed Return to Valinor ?

I just checked mine and I've got 728 plays since Dec 05.  I would guess that about 500 of those are me!  My fastest destroy the ring is 54.55 sec.  I play 2-3 games a day whenever I'm on night shift.  Day shift sucks 'cause when I get home the kids are in bed and the pins make too much noise.

High score is 241M as mentioned earlier.
