I`m looking for a White Water not too far away. I want to stay in the province of Quebec or I could drive up to Torronto but not further. Thanks all for your help. Claude.
Currently owning: -Â Solar Fire, Medusa, Flash Gordon, (Centaur), No Fear ------------------
What is a Whitewater worth?? I have a lead on one that is fully shopped and in great shape. What does the book say about the cost of this machine? I'd like to have some idea before I find out how much.
I love my Wh20 I picked mine up for $1200 at a Starburst auction, but it was dirty with cracked ramps, cleaned up real nice and will be next on my restore list. If the cabinet is unfaded, all the ramps are in real nice shape, no cracks or anything, big foot is working and in good shape, I can see a Wh20 fetching $2100 but it would have to be really nice! Make sure none of the boulders are cracked either. Check for wear at the min kickout and insert wear around the rafts and wet willys. Also you need to make sure it has at least the topper, those are getting harder and harder to find, the dome around the topper can be picked up for about $60 - $80 or so.
SO $2100 fully shopped plus shipping not a good deal??
No. It's not a "good deal", however it's not a terrible one either, assuming it's in FANTASTIC shape.
If it's something you REALLY want and plan on keeping it then do as you wish. If you're not sure and think of selling it later down the road then you'll lose money or it'll take forever to sell at that price (if it even sells).

Only been in pins for about 1 year - but rare is relative. I've seen a lot of WH2O's for sale - don't rush. A good deal for a newbie (myself included) is getting a pin from a MAACA member that takes care of their games. It'll be clean, likely have good board work done, shopped and most issues will be disclosed.
I found my White Water one week ago. it has no broken or worn ramps, no lost mine outhole wear, flippers are strong, cabinet is nice and bright with no scratches and it works 100% with the complete waterfall and dome included. I paid $1500.00 for it and I got a nice 100% working Fish Tales with it, for $1100.00.
