As requested by Vengeance, here is part 1 of cabinet repair using putty and paint. It is just an introduction to it...

I will post subsequent movies on this thread.

Great Video. Do paint stripping next. That caused me more grief than anything.

I have always been curious about body filler.

Good stuff!

How about metal refinishing? Coin doors and legs? Do you use a tumbler or wire-wheels for other metal parts?

This helps out a lot Sparky! Thank you for doing this and explaining the reasons why certain products are better than others for their applications.

My pleasure... I am having A LOT of fun doing them. If I knew before that people would use them, I would have done them a long time ago...

If I can throw my 2 cents in here...

Bondo seems complicated, but if you stick with what Sparky said "golf ball size blob" of the white part and about 2-3 mm stripe of the hardener, it works like magic.

When I will do my movie on it, you will kick yourself. The worst thing that can happen is that you put in too much hardener and it dries too fast, before you have a chance to smooth it in.

Tonight I will finish dissassembling the Seawitch cabinet. Then Saturday I will film how to strip a cab easily. Probably by Monday or Tuesday, putty goes on.
