Mine was a starship troopers from a starburst auction.
Sold it to Nick,
Who sold it to Tom and Jennifer.
So I know where it is.
Likely should have kept it, a great game.

Less than a year in the hobby so I still have my first games.. Meteor: have learn a lot, have to rebuild the power supply and repair a hacked G.I.... now I only have to do something about the playfield.. the other thing I learn it's I will probably losing some money I will decide if I keep it or not when fully restore, but probably trade it... nearly roll the score at my second game and I'm not a good player.. maybe with a faster playfield..

In the same time, I found an old Zig Zag project. The guy said it was store the last 12 years and he tought the last game played on it was over 17 years. EM game is a lot of works to restoring, I'm still cleaning it. After that, a big playfield job and impossible ti find plastics Again will never get back the money put in it but cost me less than school and I will remember more things

Quoted from cooke
I've come to terms with the fact that nothing lasts forever and pins will come and go. The ones I really like just stay longer than others.

Well said

My first was Bally Flicker. Bought from Jim on ebay. I always wanted a pin and this was the same one I grew up playing every summer at my cousins restaurant in rural Nfld when I was 7 - 10. However, once I got it I quickly got tired of the slow game play. Then I bought CBW on ebay from Jim - loved that pin. Traded them both for his SS.

I miss CBW (don't laugh) but not the Flicker - though I really loved the backglass. I thought really hard about getting rid of the pin and framing the backglass but decided this would be sacreligious!

TZ will never leave.

Pins owned:
Bally - Twilight Zone (1993)
Williams - Star Trek The Next Generation (1993)
Bally - Scared Stiff (1996)
Stern - Lord of the Rings (2004)

My first Pinball was a Who Dunnit.  I had played some pinball in the arcade during university but had never really understood the depth of the rules.

I got lucky on that game as I bought it from Regent but they couldn't get the CBW I was supposed to buy working so they swapped in the Who Dunnit instead for the same price!($1500 in 2004)  Needless to say I got very luck not to overpay on my first pin as the price tag they had on the Who Dunnit was $2799!   After a few months of playing and realizing that the only way to really get high scores was to bet on the roulette wheel(My High score was 16 Billion that started from a score of 5 B and 3 spins later I hit 16) I decided that I needed something that required more skill to get high scores.

So It got traded for a Getaway which I ended up hating, and then that turned into a shadow which I got bored of(SUPER VENGEANCE!! for high scores!) and finally turned into my Whitewater which I absolutely love!

I found a Who dunnit on Location a few months ago and was really digging the game again until I had one ball that I was able to play about 10 different multiballs on and then proceeded to lose all the points i had earned on one spin of the roulette wheel.  I said "10 minutes of great play and nothing to show for it, this is why I got rid of my first game!"

But my Second game Whirlwind will never leave the house so that is close enough
