Wow! If they seize the assets we are talking a HUGE auction. I was there last year or so and they have another warehouse full of crap....everything from pinballs (all import and full of dirt), videos, those coin games, redemption games....it's mind boggling the crap they have.

Guess we now know how they stayed afloat....

You can stop dreaming..  These things take years to sort out through the courts...  And IF they get convicted and assets get sold off, it'll most likely be very large lots, just like Crown Assets does for the federal govt..
It takes time and money to sell of these things individually - and not all will sell that way.  They lump things in big lots so it's more manageable.

I just saw this on the news this evening and couldn't believe my eyes!!
I saw Mr. O'Reilly and his wife in handcuffs.
Gee, you figure that at 70+ years old, you would enjoy your life in the sun somewhere instead of deal with stupidity.

I am a guy who has been at Alouette for over 30 times (1-2 hours each time) and got used to, what I thought, was some motivating conversation from two smart business people.

And we all thought that they were making money from the Amusement/arcade (legal) business....

I feel bad for the employees that might have to lose their jobs now as I am sure that Alouette will be investigated further....

Vids: Crystal Castles, Gauntlet/Gauntlet II, Donkey Kong Jr., Ms. Pac-Man, Vs. Super Mario Bros. (other Vids in storage - for now)

Were is the key word here. O'Reilly said it himself to me that the amusement business was nothing compared to what it used to be. So his connections were put to other use...

And what makes people in their 70s do such stupid things? Easy... the TZ pin said it best:

GRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEED
