What is the best way a pin can be delivered from another province to Toronto? Winnipeg, for example. Terminal to Terminal?

What if the person isn't familiar with shipping preparation or unable to move the pin himself/herself?

Loaded question, I know, but is it worth the trouble?

Unless it's something you really, really, really just gotta have and it's so rare you won't find one locally ever, I would say don't bother. There are a few people on here who I am sure will chime in on their out-of-province experiences.

It is a rare machine and I would really like to own it. Might be worth the cost & effort but I don't want to invest too much if it is a overwhelming hassle.

I have had pins shipped from Toronto to Winnipeg.

Day and Ross/Sameday was used for shipping.........roughly cost $150 to $200

They only thing is the person sending the pin must put it on a skid and wrap it up.

A listing of my current games can be found in the Gameroom section(Updated June 20,2010)

You may then have to use a moving van lines company who can pick up the machine from the location, with a lift truck and wrap it for you.  Expensive.  Or pay a local pinhead to help make the terminal to terminal come true. Check the price with MO as well.

Are there any companies that you would recommend to provide this door to door (or door to terminal) service?

You can try Norht American Van Lines, they used to do door to door pinball for around $500, but there may be others, plus there are online services where you can post your requirements and shippers will bid on it.

I just used a guy on Uship who is based in WPG to ship 2 games to Vancouver. It wasn't cheap but he delivered it in his own van and it was well taken care of. I got quotes from 5 different shippers but they all required the games packed on pallets, and I got a quote from NAVL, which was actually more expensive. (the seller had no idea how to pack on a pallet)
Look for a service provider named Jeff Sutherby on Uship. If you can't find it send me a note and I'll forward you his details.
He just left my house tonight so it may be a few days.
