Well this probably makes those pins allot more valuable now.

Life is like Pinball!! You never know where you will bounce or where your going but sometimes you have that one amazing shot But on the other hand you have those darn gutter ball where you just get frustrated.

RIP Evel. This man had true honor. He knew he would not make the landing. Got on his ride and took what was handed to him.Which was alot of pain.fame, fortune he lived like a king. Not once did i hear him complain about the beating his body took.

A TRUE HERO, RIP

A TRUE HERO, RIP

Have to disagree on that one..  A hero is someone who risks his life for others...  not for money or an adrenaline rush..

A hero can also "inspire" others to make their own dreams come true.

Matt Hoffman plus about a zillion kids worldwide were inspired to do just that.

I feel Evel Knievel was the single spark that ignited an "X-treme" generation. Give that some thought.

am now.  took me over 10min to get the balls to turn on gorgar after i set it up.  dont' think i will be the same again.
but yep.  i made ramps with 2x8 and old oil barrels.  set it up at the end of mount pelion (trenton).  took my old banna seat bike and went right off the side when i was about 3 feet up the ramp.  feel and dragged my face.  nose was kind of beat up with blood coming out and when i blew it was all mixed with sand and gravel.  next jump went better and then off to the camel humps behind the sand pit(that hurt).  friend put me on the back of his dirt bike as i did load of stupid stuff.  foot touch the wheel and i went straight up in the air.  landed on my feet though.  which is lucky i could have lost a foot in the wheel.  oh the sand pit (behind the hospital (which could have come in handy)).  that sand pit is huge and i use to just take that yellow 20mm rope and tie it to the fence.  then wrap it around my hands.  then run off the edge.  climb down or just let go and hope for the best.  mostly i was able to grab into the swallows (birds) holes in the side and climb down.  once in awhile i would miss and bounce off.  with luck i usally ended up in the tops of the trees below.  oh yea, trees.  would climb the highest ones(everywhere) and go to the top till the branches swad down from my weight (was only 90lbs when i was 13).  our yard had a tree taller then the house.  i tied ropes all over it and use to swing like tarzan.   was also good for getting away from my older bigger brothers.  we are a family of 10.  5 boys 5 girls.  most over 6ft and tallest is 6.8.  i do put evil up there as the guy who started extreme.  it was cause of him that i tried most of the stuff i did.  him and houdini.

growing up around crazy larry wasn't a bright thing also.  we helped with the ramp and promotion for him.  even spent the night under the ramp so no one would f with it.  weird how many people came out that night to mess with it.  i didn't scare them off but again with my 4 bigger brothers and a few cousins, people didn't even try when they saw the group.  his house was out in frankford.  he had a small ramp set up by the water and i use to take the bikes and once even a car off the jump.  that guy was a nut.  he trade seats while driving and go out the window.  climb onto the front of the truck and jump over the cab to the back.  my mom didn't like it when i was on the bike with him.  cause usally we were only on one wheel while going down hwy 2.

well thanks for helping me remeber more of my past.  so much crap happens in our shot lives that i forget most things till something like the death of the greatest daredevil triggers my past.
