Looks like a decent base to build a 2p cabinet from.  Good luck with the project!

Gravitar and Space Duel would make great cabs for a ZVG Vector mame.

There's very little ZVG mame over the net. It have to be run in dosmame, need a compatible old sound card also and an old pc for the old port availability. I only saw one zvg mame project working in a Space Duel cab, it was amazing, only for hardcore vector game lover

That one belongs to ShinyNick, I believe.

I hope these ZVG boards are made again. A Vector mame using a XY monitor would be sweet. I've already bugged Zector about it but they wanted there to be a Windows patch version ... and I believe there is one now: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=137074&

Contact Zector and bug them too: http://www.zektor.com/zvg/index.html. I have a nice Asteroids cab that is begging to be upgraded.

Now a quick talk about what I did,
I scraped the whole (no pics yet), it took alot of time. There were small damages made, but no one's perfect. Removing the control panel wasnt easy, the joystick was all rusty, really hard to get it out normaly, so I had to use a saw to cut the white plastic thingy. The buttons were easy. There's really not much to say right now, but ill post some pics this week about the scraping and also i will paint whit white the 'countour' because it really hard scraping the white, that way itll also look more new. I will also post about doing some touch ups on small damaged places.
