Just for the record- I believe the fellow selling Pharoah simply had really lousy timing.

Now if I may humbly offer my opinion...If someone did have the good fortune to get a valuable item and in turn resell it for a greater value which someone else was willing to pay for it, so be it. Wish I could be that lucky. And if the subsequent purchaser is happy with that item, they are lucky too.

Hey , what ' s wrong with getting a good deal on a pin and selling it back for some more $$$ ? If i got that $100 Evel Kneivel , since i would ' ve not kept it , turned around and sold it back on MAACA  for $400 , i ' m sure that i would ' ve made someone happy ...

there is nothing wrong with profit, it just doesnt happen too often. if the buyer and seller are both satisfied then it is all good. just never brag about what you made it is a small world. no one likes a braggart.

It just pisses me off when i see someone buy a machine 100$ and try to re-sale it for twice or 10 times the price
and re-sales the same machine & doesn't tell the buyer


we all have different opinion on that subject
But i still think it stinks to have Re-sellers screw people over thats just my point of view

but i think i have touch a sensible spot on certain around here so ill leave it that way and shut the f*** up

The day will come when you end up with a low-priced machine that you couldn't say no to, even though you don't like the machine, and you will resell it. It happens.

And if your attitude is like that, man, you must be really unhappy in life, as most, if not ALL you buy in life is dealt through resellers, or better known as distributors. So the only difference between a local arcade distributor and the guy that finds a cheap machine is that the first is a registered company. Your LCD TV that you would pay 2000$ for probably cost the distributor 800$...

The only thing I would recommend as a "code of ethics" for a reseller is to shut up about the price they paid, and if it is purchased through an ad on a site, wait a couple of months after the ad is gone to sell it. Simple as that. Distributors NEVER advertize their cost price... sellers shouldn't either if a large profit margin is present.

If you find a "steal", just don't talk about it. People can be jealous.
