I'm currently cleaning my pachinko and by that I mean, removing all the pins and replacing them with new one.

I need some Novus to clean the playfield. Since it's a smal playfield, I don't think I need a lot.

Someone near Gatineau/Ottawa have some left over ? Or know where to get some ? I know it'S getting harder and harder to get some.

That's brutal, removing the barbed brass pins (they were actually meant to go in once and stay in).

I hop eyou don't mind my asking how did you get them out and what are you replacing them with?

Thanks, as an owner / refurbisher of 5 pachinko machines (one 70's one) I am just curious.

Novus 1 is useful for final polishing/cleaning, and I have used Novus 3 to take scratches out of Pachinko parts before as well.  Novus 2 ,s easy to get in small bottles via eBay if necessary (it's also available in Canada at Starburst I believe, or from this Toronto supplier http://www.noscratch.com/novus/pricing.shtml)

I took them with a pair of plier... My right had hurt like hell and I'm only 25% done.

The pins are rusty, dirty and bent...

I saw some brass nails the exact size at Home Depot or Rona (can't remember which one). I'll take them a little longer to make up for the barbed end. Since I got the machine for cheap, I don't mind experimenting with it.

I wanted to get some Novus locally since I'm trying to wrap that up quickly but I'll probably go the ebay way.

Plastics of Ottawa sells Novus. Pretty good price I think as well. They are on Canotek Road.

Cheers,
Duane
