Notice how Mr. Cheung has only reproduced the sound portion. he hasn't even tackled the video part yet.
He is insane and my hats off to him but if he was doing this as his day job. he'd easily hit the 300K mark in a few more months by the time a prototype is made.

reading oscilloscope output from the logic bus isn't for the faint of heart and probably deserves a few pennies more per hour than working behind the counter at Mickey D's..

Again my saying about it being a hobby. Doesn't need to be cost effective. Thankfully he seems to get some sort of sick and twisted pleasure out of figuring this out.

I could sell you a couple of NBA Fastbreaks, they both have working AV Boards... I don't have the right chips to link them (I was trying to link them tonight but the 1 chip is wrong and I don't see them listed on Digi-Key) The 2 chips are a MAX239 RS-232 and the other is a 16C450 UART Something about using a Buffered 16C550 as an equivelant part. Hmmm, Look for a new wanted post!
