Do you remember your first pinball ( or near pinball ) from your childhood.

I blame my addiction on this little guy.

By the way if anybody has one for sale I'd love to buy one again.

Thanks
Mike

Silverball Mania in late 1979, closely followed by a Stern Lectronamo and a Bally Bon Voyage.

My first home-pin was, of course... a Tomy.

Vids and arcade: First ever I am pretty sure was a Sega Grand Prix... a huge sit-down rear projection driver from 1969 similar to Speedway. I vaguely remember it from when I was 4 years old in 1977. I know it was not a Speedway as this one was a sit-down. I will have to look it up to see if there ever was such a version.

Retiring soon...

Wow!   I remember my aunt having one and always anxious to be at her place to play it.   She lived in a Manitoba while we were in Ontario - so I was quit patient

I think one of the first games was Jack in the Box.  I had junkyard too as well as the Fonz pinball by Coleco and the electronic Wildfire pin too.  What can I say, I guess I was addicted by that point.

This was my first to own - Swing Along http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?gid=2484 _ got it for my 14th Birthday (so it was already a little old) - and learned to replace rubbers and adjust switches, fix up the ball return (which you pushed in).  Sold it to raise money for university.  It wasn't my first experience with pinball, however, my Uncle was a large coin-op distributor in Vancouver (akin to Starburst here) - and we had free run of his show room many, many weekends that I will never forget (which explains my focus on late 70's, early 80's pins and EMs).

eheh, I had a wildfire too... the handheld game .  In fact, I still have it, but I loaned it to a friend in the states who converted it to visual Pinball (yeah, really, works ok too but it's not finished yet).
